Calva-Lac® Calf Milk Replacer is designed for calves raised in the West and Southwest U.S. This calf milk replacer line provides the right blend of easily digestible, emulsified fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and essential oils to keep calves performing their best, while keeping you profitable.
Calva-Lac® calf milk replacer fat and protein levels can be tailored for your farm.
Starting day 2 of life, feed 1.5-1.75 pounds dry matter per calf per day. Feed 3 quarts of Calva-Lac™ calf milk replacer twice daily or 2 quarts, 2-3 times daily.
Feeding calves fresh, clean water along with a high-quality, palatable calf starter feed on a free-choice basis supports healthy growth. Only use low sodium water (<50 ppm) when mixing and feeding calf milk replacer.
Mix calf milk replacer with 110-120°F water. Calf milk replacer should be 105°F when delivered to the calf. Always weigh calf milk replacer powder for proper mixing.
